WBD Employee Spotlight: Ben Foley

Meet Ben Foley, a WBD Senior Associate who joined the firm in 2020. Ben’s decision to join WBD was an easy one. He says, “Ultimately I was drawn to the firm’s fast growth and dynamic culture that prioritized professional development. I knew WBD would invest in my future. And I am happy boast that I was not wrong!”
At WBD, Ben supports federal clients by helping transform multifaceted user requirements into strategic acquisition packages. He also assists in creating financially complex proposals. “I value the ability to aid the acquisition processes for some of our nation’s most important agencies” he says.
A member of WBD’s Acquisition Solution Group (ASG), Ben contributes to the expansion of WBD’s intellectual capital through the production of white papers and best practice articles. When working with other ASG members, Ben acknowledges that he is constantly impressed by the deep well of knowledge that WBD can pull from. “I am regularly blown away with how much talent is consolidated under one virtual roof here. I learn something new every day,” he says.
Ben is also extensively involved in leading business development efforts in the fast growing and increasingly relevant world of supply chains. Ben says that “working with experienced professionals to develop novel solutions to intricate problems is one of the most exciting things WBD can offer its employees. The opportunity to help WBD expand into new, emerging markets keeps every day feeling fresh.”
A native of New Hampshire, Ben decided to stay in Washington, D.C. after graduating from American University with a B.A. in International Studies. When he is not supporting his clients or pursuing new leads to grow WBD’s business, Ben can be found on a beach with a good book or chasing fresh powder in untamed glades.
