WBD recently established its first-ever Strategic Advisory Board by selecting board members who are noted experts in their field and will guide WBD through the next phase of its maturation, assisting in strategy development, employee growth, business development, and mentorship.
“Ambassador Robert Blake, Jr., Julie Barth, and Brigadier General (Ret) Allen Jamerson bring to bear a unique, cross-sectional knowledge of diplomacy, defense, security, marketing, and strategy” said Scott Caldwell, WBD President. “We thoughtfully selected this board to bring a fresh perspective to the firm and ultimately help chart WBD’s path into the future.”
Ambassador Blake served for 31 years in the State Department in a wide-range of leadership positions. He was nominated by President Obama to be Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, serving from 2009 to 2013, for which he was awarded the State Department’s Distinguished Service Award.
